Anime PVs and Podcast

Hello everyone!
It’s been a while since our last update, but rest assured; we haven’t forgotten about you. In less than two weeks the last six episodes should air, and we will be doing our hardest to get them to you in a timely fashion. In the meanwhile, we’ve translated the two anime promo videos. In addition, SingerOfWhiteLine and I have also begun a Dies Irae podcast, where we discuss and speculate regarding news and developments regarding assorted Dies Irae related content and media. Be aware that there are spoilers there, so do not listen to it if you haven’t at least read Dies Irae to completion. I’ve attached a link to the podcast, and the PVs are available on our channel.

Hello all!

It’s been a while since our last update, but we haven’t been resting on our laurels. As promised, we’re still going to translate Dies and Shinza content. And so in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, we bring you a translation of Dies Irae’s Valentine movie.

Episode 11 released, plans for the future

Episode 11 is up. Our apologies for the significant delays – the holidays ate away at the team’s free time, causing this significant delay.
Episode 11 marks the end of the TV episodes, with the show going into hiatus until the remaining 6 episodes air on stream in July. We intend to translate those episodes, as well as continue to translate audio dramas. We will update accordingly when those go up. Speaking of, in case you didn’t know, a new one was translated not too long ago. I recommend you keep an eye out on Weltall Subs’ Youtube channel for future updates:

Episode 11 is also the final episode translated by Caduceus XIII. Everyone on the team thank him for his significant contribution up to today, and we hope our future work will make us a project he can be proud to have been part of.

We thank everyone for sticking with us until now, and we hope you will stay with us until the streamed episodes are out, as well as our work other possible Dies Irae/Shinza Banshou related content.

Episode 08 release

Ep 8:

There were some unexpected delays, but episode 08 is up and ready.

This episode introduces arias. Arias are incantations the characters use, and while they are spoken in Japanese in the show, they refer to different quotations and lines that reference varied literary works. As such we’ve decided to offer you two ways to approach them. Our episodes feature two sub tracks, one with just the translation for the aria, and another track with both the translation and the text in the aria’s original language (as they appeared in the game). Feel free to check the latter out if you’re curious to see the many references Dies Irae draws inspiration from.

Episode 6 is up for your viewing pleasure!

In addition, to compensate for episodes 4 and 5’s delays, we’ve whipped up a little something for you in the form of an English translation for one of Dies Irae’s audio dramas! These are fun little audio tracks that came as extras for assorted releases of the game and merchandise. They’re mostly comedy but are official, voiced by the original voice actors, and are very fun additions to enjoy alongside Dies Irae’s main story. You can watch our first one here:

We plan to release more of these in the future, so keep an eye out for them.
